Dakar Tour - Botswana - 23th of June 2017 - With just a few hours to go before the start of the three-day Kalahari Botswana Toyota 1000 Desert Race that will take place near Jwaneng in Botswana, a crowd of more than 200 were present for the Dakar Tour conference and got a look at the route for the 2018 edition, which will start in Peru on January 6 and conclude in Argentina on January 20 after crossing Bolivia.

The Dakar’s return to the land of the Incas will start in Lima on 6th January, in this great world race that brings together the best cross-country drivers and riders in its 40th anniversary and the 10th edition in South America.

Dakar Series China Rally - 14th of June 2017 - It will be a big challenge for the car, side by side and truck drivers that will participate in a large-scale rally-raid, adhering to the demanding Dakar standards. The route will also have a wide-ranging character, knowing that the special stages in Inner Mongolia visited by the Dakar Series China Rally will be mostly all-new and that have never been featured in other rallies.

the assistance teams go green!

Dakar 2018 - 2nd of June 2017 - Time will tell, but perhaps it was the last placed finisher in the car category that made the 2017 Dakar historic. In 57th position, at more than 110 hours, penalties included, behind Stéphane Peterhansel, Ariel Jatón and Germán Rolón drove a 100% electric vehicle, for the first time, to the end of the rally. The technical and sporting challenge required four years of research and perseverance from the Acciona team.
